Title: Electric Rear Blind Has Come Alive
Post by: Mr.OmegaMan on 19 July 2016, 21:53:01
It's not been working for probably close to 2 years now... But today thought I'd try it and hey presto it works   :o

Promising rain tomorrow so it'll probably not work  ;D

On my previous 2.5 elite the blind worked well for a few weeks before it started to play up with not winding it all back into the shelf. but then when i tried it another day all i got was some clicking and it stayed put inside the shelf never to be seen again.

Best thing for them, like any electric motor/mechanical systemis to use them semi-regularly. Mine's still alive and give it a poke once in a while. Mind, I do like it, most people think it's a silly pointless toy, but I like it.  :)

I vaguely remember someone on here saying that they like a wipe of silicon grease on the runners periodically.  :-\
