Do ECP actually want business? I tried several times today to buy two 5 litre cans of 10-40 semi-synthetic oil on a two for one offer, filled in the form religiously and got right down to the PayPal bit - then it stalled!
They clearly don't want my custom, as this has happened before, some months back.....

Always works for me. Although I reserve for collection

Yes, but going to collect would cost me a gallon of petrol, which reduces the bargain!

I find the application form confusing make sure you are completing it all.

Do you sign in or use as a guest?
Just out of interest why use paypal? Shirley it still comes from the same bank account
Ive had paypal freeze on me resulting in a cancelled order
-
"Frostbite" it's easier with PayPal; I don't have to have cards at the ready or remember any details!
"Robson", I was meticulous in filling the form in and tried several times. I also got a "have you forgotten anything" email from them afte the failures, so I reported my bad experience and have heard nothing since.
It's all academic now, as the offer ended midnight last night, as did my custom with them.....

Can I just make a point about HalFRAUDS! they have done me over twice now on the cheap oil deals.Bit similar to what has happened here with Ron and although they take the money and keep it for a bit...you then get a message saying ''you can kiss your oil goodbye, as the offer is over subscribed and yes no cigar for you...loser'' So just be aware that it's not always a genuine offer, but a legal way of nicking your hard earned so that they can get a bit of interest on before returning it to you minus your products.BA***RDS! >:(

Thanks for that, "nitro". At least ECP didn't manage to get any of my money - or my custom!

Obviously they have a limited stock on these offers and I guess it's first come first served,BUT! once I can understand, but the second time ummm! threw my toys out of the playpen and have never spent any of my hard earned with them for over 18 months to date. ::)
