Thanks for comments. Have now got to the bottom of the major issue. Still trying to figure out what is wrong with rev counter also what the knocking is at the back end.
Couple of other things i want to do is replace leather seats to cloth mv6. Also trip over to serek to pick up irmy front grill. :y

Have the same sort of thing with the red MV6,donut bushes done by Serek in the last couple of months,so not that problem, but have a light rear end knock which Serek is going to take a look at,as he thinks it may possibly be suspension related as the car had Eibachs and B4''s and genuine VX fitting kit  last year and may just need a bit of a tweak...fingers crossed ::)

Going up to Serek's on the 9th,could pick your grill up and bring it a bit nearer to you,or depending on what time I get away from Huntingdon,I could possibly dog leg past your place and drop it off :-\

There is a selection of English food at spiceland, but I've got a mate who has never eaten any vegetables in the last 30 years, other than potatoes...as in chips and crisps, had his first coronary at 55.He wouldn't even go through the doors at Spiceland, even though he could fill up on chicken nuggets and chips, his wife and daughter are the same. Think the word ''issues'' come to mind :o
