Title: Mk 2 fiesta sale
Post by: Tony H on 04 August 2016, 17:39:58
Hi all, I have a D reg. Mk 2 1100 Fiesta Ghia that I want to sell. It's scrap value is about £65. Anyone give me an idea what its worth? I understand that they are quite sought after for parts for anyone building an XR2i. The bad points relating to the car is it is a CAT C right off. I challenged the insurance company over this as the damage is only cosmetic broken light, bumper and dented wing, but they stuck to there guns. Three damaged body panels rear seats have seen better days, and it also need some welding done on both sides to the point where the suspension connects to the body. The up points are it has done just short of 70K mile genuine.Engine and gear box are spot on, It runs sweet as a nut, It has many usable parts i.e glass, some body panels light units etc. I suppose the best thing to do would be to break it myself but I haven't got the time at the moment any advice would be appreciated

TIA
Regards
Tony

EBay or the ford magazines, and ford type forums.

I got £35 scrap for an Omega last week. That would make a Fiesta worth about £25.

You need to advertise it in the ford type places.
