Mate of mine's recently acquired a Zafira, and by the end of the week another lad at work is also hoping to have a Vectra C up his drive, both with the 1.9CDTi engine. I've offered to help out with servicing etc on the Vectra, would anyone have a service interval schedule/advice as to what to expect/do on the car? Ta. :y Been a while since I've gone near anything front wheel drive! :D

Big undertrays that are a nightmare to remove on the floor. If I remember right, the Vectra oil filter is buried at the back of the engine above he driveshaft with no access.
I also look after a few Vauxhalls like these and they are never nice

Ugh! Good to know! I'll just go off and have a quick cry, haha

Oil filter is at the rear but not to bad to do, you do need a short length of hose to let it drain (it hasea point you attach the hose to on the filter housing, part undo the filter cap and the oil drains out). No undertray in the way on a Zaf.
They need the MAP sensor and EGR valve cleaning every year plus its worth fitting the brass lug based swirl flap kit if its the 150.
Generally, if serviced reasonably (dexos2 oil) they last well although heavy full boot clutch changes can take the DMF out.
Mines just sailed past 165k miles with minimal issues.
Other occasional failures are the aircon compressor thermal fuse goes, dead easy to do with out disturbing the gas and on the car, lesser models (non Bosch alternator) sometimes have reg and diode failure on the alternator and if its the 6 speed manual zaf its worth putting decent gearbox oil in it

That's the answer I was looking for! Much appreciated Mark. :y

Oh yes, cam belt and water pump at 100k miles, not to hard to do (but not as easy as a V6 Omega sadly)

It's been 'serviced regularly' which, as we know, means either well looked after, or had received a 'regular' oil change 'every 4 years, whether it needs it or not', so to speak ::)
