Just for shits and giggles I thought I would go and see how much We Buy Any Car would pay for my Omega.
1999 Elite with 163k miles - £60, had to laugh. You can imagine if you went for it, it would have a one-way ticket to the crusher. ;D ;D

Don't count on it. 2 years ago I collected a tidy, 2.6 MV6 with a long MOT for WEBAC. It did have the usual emissions light on, but was a nice car. The owner received £75 for it, after trying to sell it normally for £500. She was just glad to see it go, which is where many Omegas are in their life cycle. We delivered the car to Copart, where it remained unsold for weeks.

Even the Focus would get £75 :o
Alot of their stolen ridiculously undervalued cars go through BCA... which, if it's not the same company, they have the same bank manager ::)

The Focus is still a car that will resell quickly, although the profit will be small. Anyone who buys a £350 15 year old 5series/XJ/E class at an auction is buying the image just as the original owner did. Big Vauxhalls/Fords/Citroens/ Peugeots etc have no image and consequently have no value whatsoever.
