Just thought I'd ask in case anyone has one lying around or is about to break a car with a working one.

Did you catch it with the jack? That's what killed mine ::)


The good news is that a saloon one is the same, which makes sourcing one easier.

No, I bought the car with the fault and had the fault codes read.

It was seized solid and the casing's broken. I tried to free it off but it's still really stiff and I can't see any way of repairing the casing even if the electronics are OK. Best bet is to buy another working one if I can.
