Hi all this maybe of use to someone here,I have just purchased a Makita 2610t drill for £108 which is a steal for this drill on Amazon. It comes with a standard sds chuck but also a proper quick release interchangeable standard chuck and is 240v if you go through vouchercodes they may send you a £5 gift card as well plus if you buy a £30 amazon gift card they will give you a £5 promo code then use gift card you emailed to yourself and all in £103 an even BIGGER steal!!!

Looks a decent bit of kit for the money, not too unwieldy looking at pictures of it. :y I'm an occasional user so I bought a Titan from screwfix for about fifty or sixty quid. I've used it loads on our building project, the downside being that it's rather large and weighs around four ton. ::) ;D

I have a B&Q Performance Pro SDS Drill which cost £40ish about 10 years ago and it's still going strong after much use and abuse! :y
My £99 3 year old Makita cordess hammer drill however..... :(

I still have my Performance Pro 9" disc cutter, electric plane and circular saw that I bought from a shop called Smiths Do It All donkeys years ago. Crikey, my kids were only toddlers then and the tools are still going strong, despite being used one hell of a lot. :y

I'm still using my Wickes 9" grinder and SDS drill after 20 odd years, both have been horribly abused, esp. the SDS for breaking concrete, but both still excellent in use. :y
