I have a Tom Tom XL, it does the job and I like the screen size. :y
But does any one know if any of the portable ones can be programmed with multiple destinations at the same time. I normally preplan a route on google maps and play with arrangeing the destinations, my little route last night 2 people caused an issue, one went out shopping and delayed a pickup by an hour :-X and as I had allready set off it changed the whole journey as I had to double back rather than complete the route (loop) that I had planned. :-\
Another option that would be nice based on what I said above is to delete a destintion from the route once vsited. :y
Auto arrange the route for speed for economy would be nice as well. 8)

All the ones I had could add at least one via/waypoint to any given route...
From experience, shortest/quickest/most efficient routes can be three completely different ways...
As an example, Horsham to Heathrow:
Shortest route goes up the A24 to Leatherhead, then cross country, through Kingston etc to Stanwell and ultimately T4/5.
Most efficient route, assuming clear run, A264/M23/M25 (allows for a constant speed cruise, therefore best mpg but also 15+ miles further than route above).
Preferred route A24/M25.
All take the same time...
