Does any one know what the paint code is for the silver trim bits. TIA :y
-
They're not painted, so I doubt an official colour code exists. A paint mixer should be able to mix you something similar, and there are various special effects paints to mimic metal finishes that can look pretty good.
I can tell you that Star Silver is a pretty good match for the 'titanium' trims in an MGF.

As nick says just re-paint in rare silver.

Cheers Nick and BG, I've got a couple to practice on and I've got a couple of cans of Star Silver2 and clear kicking around as well :y

If you do every piece, they'll all be the same.
This is a squirt of Star Silver(I mixed about 75ml, and didn't use all of it) and 2 pack lacquer:

Only needed some fine scotchbrite for preparation as you really don't want to scratch soft plastic:

Give it a good wash, with hottest water and fairy you can bear, to get the polish off, then rough it up with a scotch brite, wash again dry then paint.

Will do as suggested :y
