No CH yet, but I did fire up the solid fuel Rayburn for the first time, but then like a lot of blokes, I just love playing with fire :D

Just been asked permission by my wife, if it's okay to turn on the heating.
I fear this is a trick question. I'm some 110 miles away so why is she asking me? Perhaps if I say "no" she'll use it as a way of preventing impending MV6 purchase. Perhaps if I say "Yes" she'll use it as a way of preventing impending MV6 purchase.
I said "You don't need permission, my love"
;D

Heating? Why would you want that when the temperature has settled to a comfortable level again?
It was about 19degrees when I went out at 14:00, and it's about 12degrees now.
It's still T-shirt weather!
-
Still wearin me shorts :D
-
What???? Still T shirt weather for heavens sake here in Scotland

Ive never known such a fast change from summer to autumn. Last Thursday was boiling hot here. Somewhere near 30 degrees.
Friday morning started of cool and then it hammered down with rain for hours, and its been autumnal ever since.
-
Not yet, and as it`s forecast to still be around 18 degrees into next week it won`t be for a while ;)
-
18 degrees is positively Baltic compared to what we have had over the last couple of months.
-
I gave in last night, house temp was down to 19C, a bit chilly, so had the heating on for a couple of hours...
Been warmer today, so maybe not tonight :-\
-
Still have the windows open. Heating pahhhh ;D

I concur.
I was miffed the other night, because it was phishing it down, I had to shut the larger windows, and pop on the A/C unit :(

19 degrees? ::). Ya big Jesse!! ;D
Although mine might have to come on at the weekend as I've got friends from Lanzarote staying. :-\
On the other hand sod 'em they can put another jumper on as well! ;D
-
The wood burning stove should be finished by next weekend :y Should be able to watch TV without freezing nuts off or costing a fortune in gas this winter. . . . . . . I hope

In Barnsley, if you put your heating on before December, you can be deported. 'Get theesen a good string vest, lad' seems to be the answer.
-
Heating was on last night . Turned it up to a nice toasty 22 :)
-
I worry about you lot needing the heating on so far this Autumn. Its still nice and mild. Does Omega ownership cause universal bad circulation ;D
