Still think its a very clever project tho.., gawd knows how many hours he spent rubbing the darn thing down lol.  Most of us have problems filling holes in walls when redecorating lolol.  Whatever its made of.., it LOOKS good lol.  Just think, with all that foam, u crash and u bounce off the dashboard lol, no need for a bag.

Take a blade to a lot of dashes and that stuff is underneath the vinyl somewhere.  Not a lot different from sticking fibreglass all over the body -- as long as the skeleton underneath was sound!

I remember buying the plans for a kit car a few years ago, and the body technique was to make a ply structure, stick on sheets of poystyrene and sand/hot wire cut to shape, then skin it in fibreglass ( protecting the polystyrene first !). This is an interesting development on that, using the expanding foam.

If he used his car to make a mould, he could mass produce them. Just  skin the mould with fibreglass, put in a ply chassis, then pour in the expanding foam. You now (almost) have an injection moulded car body !

Looks a nice result - apart from the appalling front grill :( :( :(
One knock and all that foam will fall off!!
