Can anyone tell me if there is a cheapish code reader/clearer for 2.2 petrol engines? I am looking at getting another omega and can find loads of 2.2 but was told it is hard to find out codes for them, with a reader.
Thanks in advance.

I bought a maxi scan 309 to put out the spanner light on my 2.2 and it would not connect to the system...then a mate of mine had the same 309 cheap machine and that also will not connect to it either,,,another friend had a blue point scanner which did connect but would not clear the code.so i gave up in the end as the car ran perfectly,so the spanner light remains lit.. :-\

The fake Autel ones are utter shite, very problematic. Genuine ones fine, as the 2.2 is EOBD completely ant
