I have the following cluttering up the place:
A pair of '90s Tamiya 1/10 4x4 car chassis, one Escort Cosworth and one BMW 318. Both battered but functional.
A Tamiya 1/14 Mercedes 4x2 Rigid. Again battered, but functional.
2x Acoms Techniplus AP-201 (remember those :o) controllers with reciever and servos.
1x Hitec Focus 4 Channel transmitter, again with servos, receiver, charger and electronic speed controller.
Before I dump them, I presume that the cars are both worthless, although the truck might make for some useful spares.
The radio sets might also only have limited value, although it stands to reason that the Hitec one is worth more :-\
Might hang on to the four channel and job lot the rest on Ebay, assuming no one has a better suggestion... :-\

Ebay. One mans junk is another mans treasure.
I sold a pair of BT Merlins on Ebay. The guy had an attic full of phones and switchboards from 80's and earlier and a small working telephone exchange. ( Lived at Brackley too.....) :o

Better to list as a single job lot or split the cars from the radios?
-
Split I guess and refer in your ad to the other item. Get more views that way , I think. Plus it is hard to get in the title all the things if there is a variety in one listing.

Could do with knowing the tamiya chassis codes, I'm goin to guess ta02? If the transmitter matches the cars I'd sell them as a package. I don't think on there own the controllers would be worth much.
I do like my old tamiya cars but bugger me they are slow compaired to new designs. And yes that it with the same equipment before you start fitting brushless tech.

Think TA01 for the Escorts and TA02 for the BMW without looking...

Trouble is, arse dropped out of the once booming RC car market.
I used to do off road RC buggy racing, ended up on the committee for the local club due to my inability to say no, and we were a very busy club. I was also quite good at it ::), but to stay on top meant spending a fortune every few weeks on batteries and motors - incompatible with buying my first house :'(
I still had all my stuff - mostly Schumacher CATs, Kyosho Optimas/Mids electric, and a couple of petrol ones, Futaba RC units, both 27Mhz and 40Mhz, all the speed controllers and so on - but it was in the garage when that went up.
When going through the loss on the insurance form got me thinking about starting again, but nearest club to me that I could find was about 40 miles away. I was really surprised, as 25yrs ago, every town had at least an electric club.
As to your dilemma, I reckon a bulk lot, else I fear you may only still a couple of smaller bits....
Thanks for the trip down memory lane :y

Bung the whole lot on Ebay as a job lot so you only have one parcel to make/post.
If it doesn't sell, take everything to the tip.
Easy.

There's a faceache page for just about everything, probably including sex with gerbils and anal piles.
