Title: Snow joke....

Unbidden, the "snow" light near the gear selector (auto box, of course) has lit up. No amount of pressing of the snow button puts it out, but fortunately it is telling lies - the car drives quite normally, starting i first gear as usual.
Any ideas, gents?  ???

It should routinely light up when you put the lights on and be noticeably brighter when switched on.

Also, doesn't do anything over 50mph :y
