Damn right !
I just hope that like most politicians he doesn't actually do what he said he would
-
The Democrats chose the worst possible candidate and allowed this odious individual to slip into power.
If Clinton had won, exactly the same thing could be said, apart from substituting Republican for Democrat.
We live in interesting times. ::)
-
Obama did 70 percent of what he said he would.
Civil servants in a lot of governments will be busy trying to work out what it means for their country. What does it mean for NATO?
-
Kill the Mooooslums!!!
-
Much bewilderment on the BBC and the rest, and predictable howls of outrage on social media! ;D
-
He is President of the United States, not the free world.
And he's won it fair and square. Let him be judged on his Presidency, not his campaign ;)
A Republican trifecta might not be best for the country as a whole, but it is what it is...

Agreed :y

I was just watching Sky News where they were talking about the reaction from the markets and they pointed out that the FTSE was doing OK after an initial fall but had bounced back to yesterdays close levels. I switched to the BBC where they were leading with FTSE falls by 1%! ::)

Being serious for a moment - that's a fair comment tbh. :y
Concerns about NATO aside, he may be a good friend to post Brexit Britain - hopefully.
Buy shares in U.S.building companies, they are going to be busy with that wall. ;D
Sell shares in polling companies. Its an industry without a future. ::)
-

Exactly, and God help the free World, ;D
Just not sure about the bloke though, could be, erm, could be, good news for Britian / Brexit though in terms of USA / UK Trade deals, He does seem a bit pro Brexit. Maybe we wont be 'Back of the Queue' after all. :-\

The people have spoken. Long live the people! A new order has arrived. Interesting times ahead.
-
Pink Floyd should be doing well out of it this time next year, whats that Album called again, The Wall. I wonder if they're release a Spanish Version. ::)

Thats what it says.... right there, first line....
Anyhoo.... maybe it should have said "Leader" instead of President...?

No I thought he said the Mexicans would build and pay for it.
-
Russians are happy. :-X
EU is isnt, in particular Germany ::)
China, well China is China. :-\
-
He's not complaining about anything being rigged now is he! ;)
-
And Hillary is going to gaol! :D
-
A large proportion of his vote came from angry white working class men. People who feel as though they have been left behind.
I'm not convinced a billionaire business man will be their savour. In fact I doubt he would piss on them if they were on fire.
-

.......maybe the prison could be located behind the wall the Mexicans are going to build with their own money. :)
-
How long is the US/Mexico border?
How much will it cost to build?
-
1989 miles.
-
1989 miles.
Paddy, Mick and Sean will do that for £1 a mile, so £1989.

I'm not sure the Mexican economy will stretch to that. :-\ :)

Donald will give them the dosh in return for a few Mexican teenage girls to pleasure him during the long, dark nights.

Sounds about right.
He'd see it as a benevolent act. A way of taking young girls out of poverty.

Exactly. You could do the same for a few Eastern European girls working in the carrot fields close to you.

What an enterprising idea. I, just like Donald, would be helping these girls to a better life. :)

Don't overdo it, old fella ;D

Perhaps he,ll give old Nige a job. :D
-
multi million dollar job as US ambassador to the EU,better pay for NF than as an MEP
-
Well I've seen a lot of nastiness and intolerance shown towards that poor Mr Trump today, mostly from leftie liberal types who criticised him for being nasty and intolerant! ::) If they were as clever as they think they are they'd recognise the irony! ;D
One bloke even posted "Today is the rest of the world's 9/11! Literally!" I was going to point out that 3500 people didn't die today because Donald Trump got elected, but then decided a) There's still time, and b) Life's to short to argue with muppets like that! ::)
Sigh....
-
Interesting outcome... Whilst I fear it will be bad I happened to have an interesting chat with a couple of fellas from across the pond whilst fixing their hire car today... Both are Democrats but voted for Trump because they didn't trust Clinton and her crew ::)
-
Seems to be a vote against politicians in general. Also the political elite and their hangers on
-
The democrats only needed a half decent candidate and Trump would have been history.
Instead, they decide on Hillary Clinton who is even more unpopular and distrusted than the Donald.
-
As for Trump being a republican........I don't think he is.
Mad Donald is more of a wealthy independent maverick, much like Ross Perot in 1992.
-
The world as a whole is sick and tired of 2 faced, back stabbing, arse licking, self serving career politicians of ALL parties.
Nobody (snowflake generation / inbred retards excepted) believes a word any of them say and basically hedge there bets when it comes to any election based on which spin doctor they are taken in by, whether that spin will affect there bank balance or who there parents used to vote for when they were kids.
The world is sick of globalisation and are starting to say opps you lot, we will look after our own first :y
It happened here with BREXIT :y
It has happened in the states because they don't trust politicians either so they just voted a business man in to the Whitehouse.
It is happening all over Europe too but the mainstream media are franticly trying to keep a lid on it ;)
As the song goes .................... The times they are a changing :)

First thing I would do if I was him is buy a bulletproof vest.

Trump is certainly cut from this cloth. He believes in protectionism.
If the votes had been counted in the same way as Brexit then Clinton would have won.
47.7% Clinton........47.5% Trump. About 300,00 votes in Clinton's favour.

If the BREXIT referendum had been held along the lines of a General Election, then the result would have been very different, about 65 - 75% in favour of BREXIT! ;)

With Trump lovers and Trump haters split almost 50/50 what are the odds on another civil war? ;)

So much for democracy, both here and over there. I thought it was only third world countries that refused to accept the outcome of an election/referendum.

Clinton voters believe themselves to be intellectually superior. Some of them believe that Trump voters are uneducated inbreds who live deep in the mountains and are married to their sister.
Trump voters believe that Clinton voters are namby pamby liberal 'nigger lovers'.
Chalk and cheese, I'm afraid.
