Title: Can the distance parking sensors be turned off/on ?

Just a question regarding an Elite with them fitted (52 reg) with them turned off due to having a tow bar?????

I think it can depend on the system fitted as to whether they can be turned on/off at will.I'd suggest that if the towbar is firing the system off then the sensors are not correctly spaced?

Got sensors on both my estates, and with towbars fitted. Work perfect on both :y

The official GM towbar wiring disables the park pilot when a trailer/pikey/burger van is plugged in

Cheers for that, i am looking at buying one which is for sale and the owner says the rear sensors have been turned off on the ' computer ' due to the towbar ?

Ignition on and in reverse, the sensors should 'buzz' if touched.
