There was a low mileage E500 estate, on a 52, came up at a local dealer two weeks ago, was £7995.
I looked,I thought, I thought again, then I heard a voice, " don't even think it", so I got that idea out of my head, all I could see was A big V8 estate, which I
needed,wanted
,but hay ho the voice won :(

Told SWMBO of my exhaust plans , she insisted kitchen flooring first, I'm happy with that  she is not aware of my little MB emergency fund.😉😉

The 4.0 6.3 or the old 6.2 6.3?

It's so confusing.

Rotten parcel shelf is usually fatal...

Personally prefer the earlier SLC or the later SEC 8)

Same with any car really, do your research on the model you want we all know there is plenty of info available now check mot history & service history, I prefer 1 owner cars with full history but never expect to run a quality car  on the cheap, personally I never ever use pattern parts & to date I have never had a bad buy & stick rigidly to service requirements  .

Just had a quote for a stainless steel system for the Merc £799 which is about what I expected, company recommended by a mate who had his Daimler done by them. Only one snag it's in Carshalton Surrey so will have a run down there in the Spring.
