This could be a question for law enforcement types. There's a police vehicle round here that I can't guess at what it's for. It's a 6 wheel chassis/cab with a big box body on the back. There are no windows in the box body,it's plain white with only the word police on it and blue lights.I've seen it driving round on a couple of occasions but today is the first time I've seen it with blues flashing and siren on the go.So what's it's purpose?

Could be anything from bomb disposal to a horsebox, money on the former though or crime scene equipment transport :-\
Presume you mean 4x2 7.5-12t rather than 6x6 all terrain when you say six wheeled...

Underwater search team perhaps :-\ :-\ :-\
-
It's a police donut/burger/kebab van, delivering to all the local nicks.

They do have a mobile Police Station, but can't see that rushing anywhere :D

Yes it's got the two front wheels and then a single axle at the rear with twin wheels.I don't think it's a horse box, basically on the premise that it doesn't appear to have a ramp at the back.Bomb disposal could be a strong possibility.I've seen an underwater search team vehicle-but that has said as much on the side and this one is plain white apart from having the word police on the front and rear.

That's the fella, Josh, but round Scunny they eat more kebabs per head than anywhere else in the country (Well......apart from Bradford), hence the bigger van. ;D
