Title: Newbie
Post by: novicesalt on 28 November 2016, 14:36:41
Hello all,
I have a 3.0 v6 limo, ex funeral.
Head gasket is blown and I have been told that its easier to replace the engine.
Where would be recommended.
Thank you.

Hello and welcome to OOF.What is pointing to HG failure? The oil cooler failing gives similar signs to gasket failure.Engine replacement seems an expensive way round fixing it.

Hello and welcome, I agree I was told a number of years ago that the problem I had with mine was the head gasket which was wrong -it was a leaking oil cooler instead
