Title: Oh goody
Post by: TheBoy on 06 December 2016, 18:53:44
Little bit of mist this morning, that means all the carrot crunchers here will have front and rear fog lights on for the next week  >:(

I hope to escape back to sanity by the weekend.

On the upside, I was given an Amazon Fire today :D

Had the opposite here this morning. Moderately foggy, and most of them didn't even bother to use sidelights.  ::)

Very foggy here in london today and counted at least 50 knobs emerge out of the fog with no lights at all and some of them with their phone stuck to the side of their head. >:(

Very foggy here in Lahr too. Rhine area  :-[

But today after work me and my wife drove a few miles into the Black Forest. Above 800m we found a perfect weather. Cloudless sunny and mild! 10°C on 1000m attitude! Down there in Lahr (160m) fog and -2°C. Extreme inversion conditions, but very fine.....

I get annoyed with all these twots but I haveto convince myself that I shouldn't take it personally. They're not doing it just to annoy me.
It's hard, though. Bastards.  >:(

They have better eyesight than you, there fog lights don't dazzle anyone its there right to do what they want and won't be told any differant. I know we don't want to see them, but there just isn't enough traffice police nowdays to catch these idiots

Agreed. 80 yards visibility, and every light bulb was illuminated by most driver as they engage panic mode.

Next morning, it was like driving through tissue paper. 20 yard, maybe for a bit, horriffic. So let's leave all the lights off!!

Miss DBG was very 'pleased' to see a 'fog grey' coloured Nissan Juke appear from the gloom feet away, lightless. Mrs Juke's excuse - ''oooh, aren't my DRLs on?'' Miss DBG repied -"NO. Because your car doesn't HAVE them!" (early reg Juke)

Wish I'd been there to see it!

Lights or no lights,it didn't help on the A180 yesterday when crashes caused it to be closed for several hours!

This being Lazydocker country, I almost feel sorry for him having to tolerate the lane hoggers who drive not only with fogs on, but full beam as well over the big bridge.

Tell me about it... I actually put my rear fog lights on the other evening for the first time I can remember in years! But only for about 5 minutes and it was that foggy I couldn't even see the side of the road! :o

Should have given me a bell ;)

That was a possible plan, but then time simply ran out  :'(.  I even got as far as Woodbridge one night.
