okay, I had someone replace both front wish bones a couple of weeks ago, and just spotted that the inside edges of the front tyres are well worn. I've done 900 miles since they were replaced (including cARDIFF and back this morning) .
So I can't say how worn they were before. Don't want to replace tyres without getting alignment checked.
Where is best place to get alignment fully checked (I live in Miseryside and Work in Derby) ?

I can recommend Nigel Langs Garage, Bolton. They did the 4 wheel alignment on my Omega a couple of years ago after I had some new wishbones.
I needed new tyres, so I got them to put the new tyres on first, then the 4 wheel alignment. Transformed the car and a pleasure to drive with no tyre scrubbing or uneven wear.
I made sure I oiled and greased both front and REAR adjusters a week or so before I went there as all 4 will need a tweak :y

Excessive camber on the front wheels (leaning in at the top) is the usual cause of inner edge wear on Omegas.
Insist on having it set to 1deg 10sec, no more no less. If you get fobbed off by being told that it isn't adjustable or that it is already within the manufacturers limits then walk away and save your money.

Before you do anything are you certain the front bushes in the bones were torqued with the wheels on the ground

Marks DTM Calib used to recommend somewhere not a million miles from Derby, drop him a PM for details.
