Might be able to get you a cheap one tomorrow morn? (off to see a scrapper, might be able to grab you it for beer money off the bloke)

Of course the 'rebuild it with new sliders' option is there, too.


If you fear getting stuck unable to turn the key in the middle of nowhere, then in the short term, remove some of the troublesome sliders, a car thief can't exactly tell from the outside that you've done it.  :)

Cheers DBG, no problem with the sliders as they were replaced not long ago, and will be refitted to a replacement barrel. The retaining latch on mine is broken, and it is held in by a very small roll pin in a blind hole, so probably not replaceable, and in any case would have to come off another barrel.
Someone may have one in their 'parts store', if not I'll let you know. Thanks very much. :y

Pauls might have one... Sure there was one in the ecu etc he had of me a while back :-\
