Was in the news on the build up to it, told they would be fined if they did it.
Hopefully the appeal is successful, should set new rules for this kind of thing.

Yes, they were told. And going ahead was the right thing to do.
The FA should have attended the meeting with a chequebook, paid the fine on the spot, then never mentioned the matter again.

Perhaps if the F All had given the money from poppy day collections to old Gio (Infantino) we wouldn,t have been fined. ;) Corrupt load of bastids. >:(

What happens if we tell FIFA to foxtrot oscar?
What can they do.

Presumably British teams would no longer be eligible to play any international matches and British clubs wouldn't be allowed to play against clubs from clubs outside the UK.
No foreign (FIFA registered ?) players could come to play for British teams.

Good ... methinks the rest of the world need UK football far more than we need them .. tell FIFA to stuff it. :)

Its somewhat surprising that the fines are different for each of the nations.....
-
Relative to the size of the incomes of each national governing body ?
-
They should tell FIFA that the fines will be paid, but the money will be paid as a donation to the British Legion rather than into the FIFA Directors Chrismas Party Fund! :y
