Title: Is Z155XXGJ or 9537V a colour code?

2000 petrol 2.2 manual Omega
I am attacking rthe rust on above car's rear wheel arch. the car is mid blue in colour. What colour aeorosol do I need for it? I hope the numbers above from driver's door pillar label help.

My car is Z155 and its a graphite grey colour definitely not a blue

Yes, I take your point, blue, grey, depends upon the sky colour. Halfords could not find a reference in their system, so i took the car to them and they did a serviceable match for a wheel arch touch up.

Why not source some from a Vauxhall dealer? Would be an exact match

Good advice, only reason was that I rarely visit a Vauxhall dealership, and there is a Halfords nearby. Also, in the past they have a rack full of aerosols that have matched all my other Omega, so I presumed they would have one that fitted this car..
