Title: Changing stereo on car with Sat Nav

I'm looking at an Omega that has the SatNav option with the color screen.

I'm not interested in using that Sat Nav and I'm going to add a more modern solution, the one I already have in my present Omega. See this subject:

My question is what will happen with the information on the screen when the original radio is removed? Is there any other problems that can be expected?

You are unable to control what is displayed.

Will it display anything? Like outside temp, clock and other information?

It has potential to show BC, clock, temp etc, but you have no option to control it.
