Title: 2.6 Auto 2003 OMEGA Engine Oil Leak
Post by: egcc on 09 January 2017, 10:43:26
Hi all, have had a small engine oil leak now for some time...( found a yellowish coloured oil on the drive today not seen this colour before maybe outside temperatures causing this) its coming from drivers side of the engine(upper rear corner area) which leaks onto the exhaust  and smokes when hot.. any ideas for gasket kits/ replacements and cost... I know it wont be cheap considering what needs to be removed... shes an old bird but runs sweet would like to keep her running as long as possible.
Thanks in advance.

In my 2.6 it was cam cover gaskets leaking engine oil. Can be something else, too. I decided to buy new (original) covers as well. They came with original gaskets and O-rings. Did you check this?
