Hi all, well i guess i did something as my posting has been removed.. So I posted an advert for an omega that was on the bay on a T plate and appeared to be a MV6 Estate and a facelift and i was curious as i'd never seen one on a T plate but my posting has been removed or moved to a different section. What happenned?
-
I didn't see it, but could your post have appeared as though you were linking to an add of your own? :-\
-
I did put a link to the listing but the ad has nothing to do with me but might have been of interest to one of the members

Clearly in the rules...
You can only post summat in the Sale section if it belongs to you... :-X
Had you posted it in Gen Car Chat, then it would still be up :y

Totally unsure as to the correct section and in the end i placed it there, perhaps its been moved but anyway still interested to know why a T reg facelift that must be the first one right? First registered 17/8/99

There's an echo in here.

It was quicker to quote my earlier post than to retype it :-X
But to add, it probably is one of the first facelift cars ;)

My misty memory tells me there may be something in the rules about no posting links to ebay ? :-\

Yet everyone does it.

That was just links to your own eBay sale .... general links to a car to praise/slag it were deemed OK :-\

The issue with this was simply where it was posted, and one of the reasons behind the 250 minimum for sale posts ;)
-
A little harsh on this occasion when possibly it could have been moved to a more appropriate section and may have been of interest to the members
-
Not really, rules is rules and it's not like they've changed recently...
Besides, nowt to stop you reposting it in the correct section ::)
