Title: An exercise in obfuscation
Post by: Migalot on 30 January 2017, 10:25:44
BBC news this morning regarding the terror attack in Canada:

"We condemn this terrorist attack on Muslims in a centre of worship and refuge," Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in a statement.
"Muslim-Canadians are an important part of our national fabric, and these senseless acts have no place in our communities, cities and country."
In June last year the same mosque was the target of an Islamophobic incident when a pig's head was left in front of the building, with a card saying "bonne appetit".

You have the BBC's implied message: Islamaphobia to blame. You nasty right-wingers.

The truth?

Two attackers of #Québec #MosqueShooting are #Syria refugees Wassim Boughadou (L) & Tarek Sakr (R)  ::) ::)

I hate Biased BBC news with a passion. Mind you, Sky's not much better.

I just want plain, unvarnished, truthful reporting. Is that too much to ask?

Good old Aunty... Can't tell the difference between Quebec and Louisianna ;D

Although they do have two things in common, both are in North America, and both sort of speak French... ::)

John Stewarts Daily Show generally tells it like it is.
