About time they listened to the people...

Think they've avoided a revolution there, but we're still due one though....

It was never in doubt, despite the bluster from the SNP and the all but insignificant Limp Dems.
Now for the doddering old fossils House of Lords to pass it back.

it wouldn't have surprised me if they'd voted to stay in the EU ...... I voted Brexit  ;)

The Lords could kick it back, but regardless of how awkward they might wish to be, it should be an exercise in straightforwardness. Dillydallying will affect their pockets as much as ours ;)

Many of them would have, if they could have, but to defy the wishes of their own constituents, and their own party whips would be career suicide, so it wasn't going to happen.
As for the Lords. It seems that they have the threat of serious reform (at last) or even abolition lurking in the background if they want to play silly buggers, so they will have a tightrope to walk over this.
Personally I feel that the decision has been made, like it or not, so lets just crack on and get on with it, so the uncertainty can end and we can begin a new future, whatever it may hold.

Likewise, I wouldn't have been in the least bit surprised.

Dillydallying will affect their pockets as much as ours ;)

I bet not.. remember, past a certain point of financial worth it is as easy to make money in a failing market as it is in a rising one; see John Paulson, et al.

An alternative would have been to feign illness & go home early like D Abbot  ::)

Exactly what I said to 'Er Indoors yesterday, Andy. The woman has no integrity: but we knew that anyway, didn't we?

Don't beat about the bush, Mig, come right out and say what you mean!
Seriously though, them's my thoughts exactly, although I would not have been so charitable!
Have you ever seen her on BBC's Question Time (I try not to)? She hogs the camera mercilessly and shoputs everyone else down and the Producer panders toher repeatedly, shopwing her vile and ugly face when other panel members are trying to air their points of view.
Racist? No, I just like this song, and so did my kids when young:-

Some of them actually did. Owen Smith being a prime example. The majority of his constituents voted to leave but he still voted against article 50 and Brexit. :-\ :-\

Can't be right. >:(

She has just placed an advert for a communications officer to work for her. Presumably to try and salvage her reputation.
I think that ship sailed a long long time ago.  ::)
