Title: Wishbone bush never had plastic insert

I was looking at the guide for fitting poly bushes and from what I can see on this guide (link below) mine never had those plastic insert things on the old bush:

Bit late now but should it have had those inserts? Not sure if they were different for different models/year or something, mine being an 02 2.6 v6

Yep, those parts brace the bush against braking loads and limit the amount of movement. I think it might be a bit wayward under heavy braking without them.

I'll double check the old bushes but pretty sure it never had those. Poly bushes going on anyway.

If fitting polys, waste no more time worrying about it ;)
