I'd need beer goggles to find that attractive!

The car is a bit over the top, but that colour is awful!

Its far too racey for an old man like you, Mr Tunnie.

I think its an acceptable compromise between bland and chavtastic.

It's a V8 I'd have it not fussy about the colour 😉

My brain won't work in NM or KW

Conversion table says 474 KW is 635 BHP, 815 NM is 600 lb ft of twist. :y

Should be adequate.

Looks just the same as the over-priced-we've-sold-none UK offering to my eye.  :-\

Ideal mid life crisis car :y

 mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Had that a few years ago but hey ho if I had the spare cash I would get it but maybe not in such a conservative colour.

Lime green or Sunburst yellow would do.

That way if you were deaf you would still be able to know it was coming :y :y

V8 or not, the VF Commodore looks like it was spawned by Hyundai... Estate is better if only because it doesn't have the rear lights from a Civic IMA... ::)

I like it, a lot. Would have to be the estate version though.

We have a dog now, and all the family should be able to feel the benefit of that many BHP. Selfish to keep it all to myself  ;D

Get on while you can as this will be the last lot of V8's to come from down under. Holden plant is shutting this summer, Ford i think has already shut. and there will be no more built.

Holden are also dropping the V8 engine as well and from what i've seen on V8 Super Cars site the next race car will be a space frame chassis with V6 twin turbo rwd with a new Insignia body shell crafted on but there will not be a RWD Insignia offered for sale

Finally some sense being spoken ;)

Best we can hope for is the 2.8 twin turbo with awd... if we're really well behaved, then we might get a sniff of the 3.6 awd, but there's more chance of the Lotus Carlton being rereleased ::)

Looks like they allowed a 10 year old to restyle a Ford Focus. Hideous.  ::)

Chevrolet Caprice be cheaper to buy and import... fit an early VXR8 interior and call it job done ;)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Chevrolet-Caprice-Police-/122326586582?forcerrptr=true&hash=item1c7b3b94d6:g:0qcAAOSw9GhYiSPq&item=122326586582

Yes it's a left hooker, but it is the fastest colour :D

$13k so that's about £10k in real money plus shipping, plus import. Cheaper to buy a monaro, or vxr8.

Is it rated to tow? Lexus you can't... but I'm guessing Aussies tow lot of stuff so no issues with pikey bar.

Who cares ? :) If I could afford one of those I could also afford a dedicated towcar !!  :)

Yes, a bit over the top. I prefer the conventional R8 or even GTS. But in a more normal colour and without the huge wing, I would drive it. That's bonkers power! A lot of fun to be had after dropping the kids off at school.  ;D

Yep I would have that one. Colour is fine. You can't see that from inside. It would blend with the undergrowth when you had your first off.  Easy to find in the car park though I would probably park it furthest from the entrance anyway.
