But... can I refit it to the hub? Or more to the point, should I?

It took a bit of a kicking in removal hence the question... is there enough of a shoulder left?
Insert fits from the top, pin drops down into it and nut and a sizeable washer pull it into the hub carrier and compress everything together. Inside is spotless.
I do have another hub carrier on its way, but got given a load of grief at work over having a crap train service that can't get me to work within an hour of my start time...
Thought process being to fit the insert, and oil both balljoint pins so that they don't stick and bolt it all up and go from there :-\

Replace, you know it makes sense :y

It's oppsed.
Put the little bastid and the hub carrier in a bin you can't empty.
And be more bloody careful with the other side

Incidentally I refitted it out of curiosity...
Pulled it home with a bolt/nut/washer combo and whilst it was a tight fit, it made no sound as it pulled home, which suggest that it isn't quite as it is perhaps meant to be. That said, I did apply some heat to the carrier before fitting.
Awaiting delivery of replacement :y
