We arrived. Wife broke her own personal record by managing to get us on the wrong road within 100 metres of leaving the airport. Traffic has to be seen to be believed, especially since there seems to be a "Keep cars of the road" demo going on today - every car driver objecting by means of the horn :)
I've seen more policemen today than I have seen in the 14 years I have lived in Suffolk!
Apologies for typography - I've had a skinful - absolutely brilliant pizza pescatori accompanied by a bottle of vino del casa on top of a very large birra Peroni combined with the fact that we were up at 03:45 this morning to catch plane means that I ain't at my best.
Only had one accident so far - with encouragement from a local looney, tried to squeeze my Fiat Punto through a space that was some what smaller than necessary. Very glad I'm dot driving my Omega round here!!! :)
Going to bed now. Fed up with sitting in htel corridor fighting an Italian keyboard.
