I may be teaching my Grandmother to suck eggs, but have found the following, very useful, lengthy web site listing ALL Vauxhall models fault codes.
http://www.topbuzz.co.uk/info/fault_codes/fault_codes.htm
Thought this could help! ;)
-
Still didn't list 93 for a 2.0 16v....
-
93 is immobiliser control module no signal
whatever that means
-
I was told cam sensor!
Could be tricky on mine - no factory immobiliser i know of..? Deffo no chip in my key and no keyfobs...uses an aftermarket alarm
-
camshaft sensor is 92
-
on my 95 20 16v i didnt think i had an immobiliser til the key fell to bits the key dioes not look like it comes to pieces but it does and there is a little chip inside as i think all omegas had an immobiliser fitted not all had alarms mine is aftermarket too
hope this helps

According to top buzz 93 is Hall Effect Switch.
On a dizzyless engine the Hall Effect Sensors are camshaft and crankshaft sensors.
-
93 hall effect switch is for a bosch configured system the 2.0 16v uses the siemens setup so the codes are different
-
If there is a problem with the immobiliser the engine light will flash not stay lit.
-
It did flash when i had my "non-start"....looks like immobiliser, then! Yes, it is a Simetc ECu, BTW...

topbuzz has a fair few errors, sadly.
for omega, use the ones from our Maintenence guides section, which are correct.
