Title: I also think they're guilty too....
Post by: minifreek on 06 March 2017, 20:51:50
Anyone else seen what the ex-wife of the Rochdale MP Daczuk...

Karen Dabczuk launched a Twitter attack on the McGanns....

I kinda agree with Mrs Danczuk TBH...

If it was anyone else that left the kids alone, they would have been arrested and their kids taken from them....

Twitter should be banned... along with facearsebook and the Daily Fail...

If they were able to be proven to be guilty, with actual evidence rather than Tw a tter rants, then they would rightly be rotting in prison.

Unfortunately with no body, there is no evidence, (not helped by the fact that this part of Portugal has form for tolerating an ex pat deviant element), and with no evidence, there is no case. However guilty they might be. :-X

No mention of the parents of that lad in Greece (who transpired to have been tragically buried on a building site) ever being charged either :-X

What possessed her to start digging all this up again? Unless there's compelling new evidence, this should just be left alone.

Agree totally, but really don't know what to make of the case nothing seems to make sense to those of us who are parents.

But that's part of the point. They were guilty (and admitted to) a number of offenses. Including leaving their children unattended and drugging them with (normally) prescription meds. However, as they're both white, middle class and have a PR bandwagon on their side. No problem, have a book deal instead of some jail time.

Contrast that with this guy who was convicted for leaving his child alone for much less time while he purchased some medicine for her.

Personally I hope they're hounded for life over it, or until they tell us all where the body's burried.  :-X

Well quite.

Maddy McCann is long since gone. Even if she was alive after being abducted, she won't have been for long as a result of the huge publicity when almost everyone in the world knew her face.

Beside, the McCann parents just irritate the hell out of me. I really don't know why, they just do.

I don't think the parents had anything to do with their little girl going missing despite the 'conspiracy theory doing the rounds'

I do think if the same scenario had happened on a council estate with unemployed parents then the remaining kids would probably have been taken into care.

Double standards?

That sums it up nicely.

I really am trying to give a toss, but failing badly.

Who cares they left a toddler alone, I'm sure every single one of us was when we were little (and probably never even knew about it).

We'll know never know, and hope the kid is living a good life wherever she may be.

Yes. Things that were quite normal, say, 30-40 years ago, have now become socially unacceptable. My mum used to go up to the pub for the last half hour (dad already there, of course) and at ten years old I would keep an eye on my three younger brothers. This was in the days of open coal fires and back doors being left 'on the latch'.
