The pins in the ecu plug ...............
Are they push fit, solder or crimp ?
Just running a cable to Pin 21 for this clutch switch and the pins there but no cable :(

Almost certainly the pins crimp in some way. It's probably not DIY-able, though.
I'm not even sure how they can be withdrawn from the connector. If you can reach the end with a fine tipped soldering iron I'd just carefully solder the wire on.

Top cover carefully unclips, then the pink/orange insert slides out and new pin can be added :y
If you have the old loom, you should have 40 or so to choose from... Should pull out with a bit of force once tab is removed.
If you get stuck, I have some spares here :y
You'll also need the car side of pin at the white round plug to run it through neatly :y

Top covers been off the plug for the LPG conversion Al
Had a look and the pins are already in there.
No old loom.
This plug has a green rubber insert.
Pins 17 - 22 are wireless so I have a few chances to play with :D
New cable already run from clutch switch, behind the dash / glovebox and through the rubber grommet at the back of the charcoal filter and into the ECU box :y
Fingers crossed and all that ;)
Just need to get this wire onto pin 21 and the other wire onto the thin black wire on the stork loom
I'll have a play tomorrow

Rubber insert is a moisture seal... pin retainer pushes through from one end :y
Do you require a wired pin?
Should be able to supply from ecu to the car side of white plug...

If the green rubber bung slides out easy enough and I can get to the pin, it should :D only take me 10 minutes once I get the iron hot :-\
I'll give you a shout mate it cable with pin is needed :y :y

The lock tab slides out one end of the plug. From memory, it is pink.

Right TG, have liberated a wire/pin for you... The colours are reversed, should be BkBu, but are BuBk.
To be crystal clear, this goes into Pin 21 of the ECU/BODY plug and NOT the engine loom.
So no connection at the white round plug, it's straight into the car beneath the pollen filter and down to the sodding great plug at the base of the Passenger A pillar (although the wiring diagram doesn't show this... :-\) might find this taped up in the loom short of the plug, in which case simply solder onto the end of it.
Also have your missing BnWh MID wire/pin :y
