Title: gatcombe park

went to the horse trials at the park today, first outing in the new Elite estate with the dogs in the back, performed great, even fully loaded with 3 adults, lots of food, 2 dogs, still flew along and had plenty of power for overtaking  ::)  8-)

Though it was a DSLR. I have a D80 too. Top camera - I went to the shop with the full intention of buying a D50 but the D80 'handled' so much better I blew the budget for that. I got it with the the 18-70 zoom and I use an older 70-210 Sigma that was bought for a Nikon film camera.

I too looked at the D50, but I thought sod it and get the D80 thought i would just grow into it.

18-70 was the standard lens, i paid a little more for the 18-135, i wanted the 18-200 but could not afford it.

I find the 135 very good all-rounder.

Excellent pictures -- nice car, lovely dogs and a great day out -- what more could you ask ?

Errr be able to drink beer, enjoy the taste and effects, then, when its time to drive back you instantly sober up!  ;D

I do have a 18-24mm lens, which is super wide. Borrowed it off a friend. Was not cheap!

Took my mum to gatcombe last year.......enjoyed a good day out..........went thro £200 like water lol  ;D

It is expensive.........iirc Pims....and lemonade £15 a go for two drinks....

Spent £80 on a bed for Holly.....that she never sleeps on lol.......prefers the chairs and sofa.... ::)

This year was my mum and dads 50th wedding anniversary today......so spent the day over theirs......with family....

Nice sunny afternoon........after the rain this morning  :y
