Just wondered if anyone uses them, I suppose it`s a fit & forget item :-\
I`ve got a bit paranoid about parking my bikes up just lately.
I take akong for the ride locks & heavy D-Link chains & add disc locks front & rear
I parked up in the town the other night & someone has fixed a poster on the lamp post with a foto & "Stolen from this spot 8 March my Honda CBR" >:( got me thinking about trackers
This mob use a GPS & Radio Frequency device

We have an "active tracker" fitted to the tin tent, HAL Locate, and it is an excellent bit of kit. Been using it for over 6 years now, does what it says - providing you remember to disarm it before driving off - if you don't you soon get told its moving !! Just have to stop and sort it, takes less than 30 seconds to do that.
Exceedingly easy to use and has been very, very reliable.
They don't mention bikes on their website so not totally sure it would be suitable .. :(

Sounds good :) everyone keeps telling me the insurance will cover everything.
In reality of course it`s never so clear cut.
Plus the fact a tracker might well help plod catch the bad guys :y
