I honestly thought I would be collecting this later >:(

Gutted for you, looks a sweet motor.....
-
Keep in touch with the seller for a few days -- might still be a non- paying bidder !
-
I've already told him I have some cash here if he gets messed about...
-
Damn pity tho -- looks like a nice buy -- fairly local too !

I've even seen the car, it's almost mint for Ex plod bar two small marks on the bumpers. It is half a mile down the road :(
-
That was unlucky James, but from what I can see there are plenty more out there that will now become even cheaper! :y
I am now thinking of looking for an Elite 3.2, of a late reg, in September if the prices keep on tumbling as I think they will. ;)
-
Apart from motoring costs driving the prices down -- there are extraneous economic pressures forcing people to get rid of burdensome vehicles --- if they joined up here they might realise that they are not really that expensive to keep on the road with the help of fellow oofers ( but then --- we wouldn't be able to buy their cars ! )
-
What a shame james, good luck you never know you might just still get it my fingers are crossed for you!

If you are anything like me the garage will be full of odds and sods for months -- I keep emptying mine for a project to go in there -- then re-filling it with dross before very long !!!!!!

Oh james How guttin! Hopefuly you will get a 2nd chance... most e-bay winners are wasters... may be a good thing in this instance mate :y
-
Don't say that lol, just had to refund a e(not)buyer for a motorola mobile car kit I've put on there.., for the second time. Keep getting pratts buying them who don't know what they are buying lol. The fact that "locked to orange" means u can only use it on the orange network seems to completely pass them by lolol. Now gonna pay to unlock it and put it on again and hope I avoid the two brain cell buyer next time lol.
-
wayyyyy to many miles on that, and tad over priced.
If your after a 3.2 get a retail auto, least get some toys for the £450 yearly ticket.
-
A 3.0 would suffice.... I'm gonna go after that one we discussed, tomorrow :-X ::)

That is a MUCH better option. I suspect you could get that for the same money that x-plod one went for.

If so, I would be a VERY happy person!

Hi Tunnie, no offence meant but as you know 3.2 manuals are all ex plod which is why some pitch bids in this direction. Not trying to speak for James but some prefer manuals. To be fair i've never driven a 3.2 regardless of the transmission, i'd like too though! 8-)

I've got a manual, i prefer them.
But when paying that kind of money, and paying £450 for a years tax, i would prefer to have toys over a manual.

I've got a forthcoming change of vehicle which given i'm a right gobby tinker i'm finding REALLY hard to keep under my hat but i'll shut up for a change....Hence mine will be for sale to a forum member with a new MOT for £600 all put back to standard.
