Universally, all Netgear stuff is utter shite. Useless, utter oppsing shite.
Expect a huge outage in next few days as I have to power down everything to reboot 2 of the switches I have here >:(
Did I mention I oppsing hate Netgear.
I suppose tomorrow, when I call them about this reoccurring issue (across 4 of the tinkers I know of, 2 here, 2 at bro's (which he's educated, and used as hardcore for his building work), I suspect it'll be the usual same crap - reset to factory defaults and upgrade firmware >:(
Not sure if I mentioned, I oppsing hate Netgear.

So, do you really hate Netgear? :-\ :-\ :-\
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

Unlike you, I thought you were noted for sitting on the fence and not giving opinions! ;D
-
So if you hate netgear, why are you using netgear?

If they are anything like SMC retards on trying to maintain a chain of hotels wifi system, then their attitude will be, you bought them, your problem, except it wasn't in this case, as the installation company got a big box of door stops back with an accompanying rma. ;D ;D ;D I replaced them with the Zycel equivalent. They weren't perfect but at least they did the job. :y

I knew, and had probably mentioned it before, that their consumer shite was shite. I'd foolishly assumed their business class shite was reliable enough to be used in a business production environment, and was backed up with a lifetime warranty. And these met a physical size requirement. So against my better judgement...
Silly, silly me.

Cheap Wifi is normally painful. The Cisco WAP3xx that I fitted at bro's business are looking like they might be heading for the skip if Cisco don't pull their useless fingers out to get some stability out of them.

So as were always told, use genuine, and not pattern electriky, bits. :D
