Title: Front Bumper Removal
Post by: Figureman52 on 02 April 2017, 21:51:10
I have located a replacement front bumper in the right Z155 colour. Trouble is the seller says I must remove it. Is there someone in the Betchworth area that could do this on my behalf so that I can then arrange transport to Nottingham? Drinking Vouchers available. Thanks.

Two plastic rivets andthe headlight trims come off. Two more plastic rivets and the bumper top is free. Two torx screws either end of the bumper, one in wheel arch at top and one underneath. The plastic clips and the bumper simply pulls off.

If headlight washers, disconnect them and unplug loom next to horns.

If the bumper bar is straight and rust free, two 13mm bolts each bracket and the crash basr comes off... you WILL need this if replacing for crash reasons.

Takes longer to type this, or search for and read the guide ::), than to do ;D

Just hoping I can avoid a 300 mile round trip to do it. :)
Just the plastic needed as it is cracked.

You'll pay for it one way or tother, but Nottingham isn't that far north ::)

You live in Nottingham and so does my current favourite Omegs breaker:

He is currently breaking a number of late f/l Omegas.  Now the bumper may not be of the colour you want, but if you got one from him it maybe cheaper to have it resprayed rather than doing 300 miles.

I suggest you send him an email and see what he can do for you ;)
