.........so this would be for the period from 1965-76 for me.
A few that come to mind.
Mr Johnson. Maths teacher. Arrived one day with a brand new 'K' reg 1971/2 Wolseley 18/85 All the kids thought it was an old-fashioned bag of crap.
Mr Jennings. English teacher. He drove an old style Classic Capri from the early sixties. Red with a white roof.
Mr Simms. Art teacher. Drove an 'oddity' called a Clan Crusader. Yellow in colour we were quite impressed especially as he and the super sexy Ms Keeling (drama teacher) would sit in it together at lunch time. I believe it had the engine from a Hillman Imp.

With your sex, drugs and rock n roll lifestyle, I'm impressed you can remember so far back! ::) ;D

Late 70's headmaster had a white marina, maths teacher a beige maxi, craft teacher had a reliant kitten, surprisingly don't recal any having a Vauxhall not even throughout all my school life.whereas my dad had vivas ,chevette,Cavaliers, and his work bt ha van. Wish I had one of them !

I have absolutely no idea what car she drove . . . . . . not do I care . . .
but I clearly recall the blonde teacher who wore mini-skirts who used to sit on the front desk showing her knickers to the boys in the front row ::)

Your teachers had cars :o Or as my son once asked me when he was about 5yrs old"Did they have cars when you were alive dad?" :D
I can only recall 3 cars from my Comprehensive schooldays. The headmaster had a Ford Zephyr convertible in pale blue with a white roof[and he wore driving gloves!!]Maths teacher had a "sit up and beg"Ford Poplar and science teacher had a Ford 100E[both had I believe the 1172cc sidevalve engine]
-
The only one that sticks out in my mind was our head of maths, who drove a purple lotus Elise. And she drove it like she stole it :o
The rest were an array of euro boxes with the odd Volvo or Saab thrown in. :y
-
Oh and one teacher[I forget which subject]rode a BSA 250 Starfire!
-
Our woodwork teacher, Mr. Parker, had a beautiful Jaguar XK120 in the only colour acceptable - British Racing Green! He idolised that car and polished it to within an inch of its life; woe betide any pupil who went near it! 8)

. . . . probably because I used to sit in the front licking my eybrows ::)

Mrs Grainger, pretty divorcee with a reputation :-X, drove a X19. And very comfortable it was too. Apparently.
The rather sour Mrs Thomas turned up in a brand new MGB.
Mr Long from middle school had a Mk1 Capri, and enjoyed being a looney driving us kids back after school team football matches.
That's about all I can remember, the others must have all been non descript shitboxes
-
French teacher had an Austin 7 and Head of maths had a pre war Armstrong Siddely with dickie seat, in the tank of which, a pupil, who hated him, put sugar on his last day. ;D
-
Junior school 1958 ish, Morris 1000, Mini with floor start button and Austin Cambridge - teacher used to go to France in Cambridge and showed video of trip. At next school recall Singer Gazelle driven by French teacher, Humber Super Snipe and a couple of Rovers (90 and 110) driven by English teacher.

T & A ( Tits & Arse) grey Morris 1000 even remember the reg RJT 160 sad isn't it. 😞
-
After taking the piss out of Lord Opti for his powers of recall, I realised this afternoon that I cannot remember what my teachers drove! ::)
I think that the French teacher rode a 125cc motorbike which we all laughed at because it was a commuter style bike and not at all cool, the Chemistry teacher had a white Marina (Cool! 8)) and the Metalwork teacher had a brown Saab 99. That's all I can remember... :-\
I was probably more interested in the girls at that point in my life. :y
-
Blimey Tilbo remembering reg........she did make an impression :D
-
1967, Eastbourne, and our Media studies teacher drove the larger version of the Morris Minor, in light grey paint and black painted on"rivets".
He was considered by us girls as being right fab, and not a square like all the other teachers. That year he almost killed himself and two pupils with him when he had a head on smash.
Our Geography teacher, Mr Ashton, was a square in our opinion. He was a semi famous ex-professional Yorkshire cricket player, and he drove a then very typical new Austin Cambridge :y

One of the masters at my school had the ex Graham Hill Speedwell Austin A35 racer as his daily driver in the early 60s.
-
Mr Wilson rocked the school car park with his Saab 99 turbo, Mr Chambers also did with his MG Montego until some of the fifth formers stole it and wrapped it round a lampost
-
I think one of mine drove an omega.

As I was in to motorbikes, not cars, I wouldn't have a clue what car any of my teachers drove. :-\
The metalwork teacher had a Silver Jubilee Triumph Bonneville.
-
Mrs swan Citroen 2cv , was quite a sight seeing her get her long sexy legs out of that :D :-* Triumph Stag driven by the metalwork teacher ;D Morris Minor driven by the music teacher

.......and breathe, Mr EMD. ;) :D
Mr Smith, who was headmaster ( not headteacher, STMO ) drove a red 'H' reg 1970 Cortina Mk2.
Unimpressive wheels for his position, we thought. Not even a 1600E. :-\
