Any one good with Photoshop ?
I have a company logo its 72dpi for web, sh!t for business card etc.
Been trying to make it in photoshop and save it at 300dpi or more

getting not getting anywhere.

You can save the file with a higher image quality whether it will actually improve the look of the photo is debatable though.
Open the file, then click save for web and devices in the file tab. Click the 2-up tab so you can compare the photos. On the right hand side you can see the options for saving i.e JPEG, PNG etc. If you click JPEG then click the tab underneath to adjust the quality you will be able to increase the file quality.

if its currently saved at 72dpi and as jpg, and not a .psd, your just going to upscale it, will look rubbish.
Re-do the logo or get access to the raw image, you need to set the canvas size to be 300dpi for print.

What it is is Spear Travels with a red arrow [gradiant fill] thru it .
Tried doing it getting nowhere.

Whats the best version of Photoshop to use.
What version did it get to or currently at.
I have not used it for ages. Fancy looking into using it agaim.

best is usually most recent. that said im using cs2 suite. most recent is cs3, which offers greater compatibility with other adobe products and the recently acquired macromedia programs like flash and dreamweaver etc.
concur with previous comment; you cannot upscale from 72dpi for print. you need to start with a 300dpi (preferably vector) logo and downscale for web, not the other way round.
also, do not ever use 'save for web' when working with print items. if you need a jpg then save as > jpg and save at maximum file size (this relates to bits, not resolution). remember to change the file color setting to CMYK first too or you won't be able to print with it.

thinking about it, and to throw another spanner in the works, you shouldn't really use photoshop at all for logo creation, you should use illustrator which will save out as a vector (scalable) image. save as an eps file (different from photoshop eps).
