If your a member of VxON can you send them a PM to say that the rergister page for new members is not working, I carnt as cannot register !

Unless I read it wrong, they to a TC card cheaper than ABS...plus a Halfrauds one for those times when you're stuck...
As far as tech info and banter, i'm staying on here!
Only registered when the OOF had the "Domain" issues recently...needed a Mig fix from somewhere!

AFAIK, the cards they offer never materialise.
Those people who have been signed up for over 2 years have yet to see their Vx trade cards, and only the first to sign up got the Halfords ones.
Sign up elsewhere if its the trade cards you want...

anyone can get a helllfrauds trade card go in there in overalls and ask for the boss and say you want a trade card! the only proof i got asked for was my GM trade card
VXON cards ive heard never turn up! they seem like a bunch of miserable sods in all honesty!
best way to get a TC card is to get friendly with the stealers

there are other Vx clubs than ABS which offer TC and are a bit cheaper, but ABS do seem to be a well run decent club in their own right, so I think 20 quid there is well spent.

I apologise to those who felt they had to take such drastic actions as joing that second rate apology for an information source while there were domain issues here.
Those were my doing (or rather lack of!) as this muppet forgot to renew the domain!! :-[ :-[

Just out of curiousity, how do these sites manage to get ahold of trade cards? And, what is the chances of OOF doing the same thing?

They get TC cards by becoming a member of the VBOA... an exercise in beauracracy if ever there was one.
We would need to become a club, charge membership fees etc and that will NEVER happen. One of the founding principles of this place was information will be freely available to all (even Vxon Admins ;) )

I realised is was full of chavs and boy racers as soon as I started looking at the posts - but no need to be so harsh. It was an enquiry, not a life long pledge to them.

Just exploring my options, thats all...how many other owners have just joined ABS for the TC? I had a bad run in with the ABS in their early days when they were peddling (or rather heavily promoting) those tin pellet lead things for Unleaded (which we all know now don't work)..hope they are a little more professional in their endorsments these days...they don't promote the ebay +20bhp "resistors" do they?
I know a Leopard can change its spots, but first impressions last...

VVOC £12 a year get t/c card and loads of other discounts lmf etc well run club better than vxon! and the vectra boys love the 3l v6 engine and miggy bits

ABS are much better run now, and a membership secretary who is right on the ball.
Reason I recommend ABS is the speed and ease of getting the TC card, normally withing 4 or 5 days.
I would say a fair proportion of regular members here join ABS purely for card. I was a member for 2 years, purely for the card.
I have spoke to the membership secretary about OOF members signing up to ABS purely for card, and there is no issue with that :)

I joined vxon ages ago, b4 i joined oof. Now i cannot logon to vxon with my user name/password - can't re-register, can't contact anyone - its a load of utter krap!!! >:( >:( Good job i don't want to anymore :y :y
