Between osf driveshaft and osf wishbone back of engine...
You won't see it without removing the undertray...

I think he wants to buy a new one.

Absolutely... but that one is all down to predictive text ;D

Motorserv up in Wolverton normally have a good range of service parts in stock.
Obviously an oil filter is engine specific, but don't believe you have stated what engine.

Ok thanks tonallnonnway now just checked still leak but still small at moment so will try get one asap thanks for help

It can only be dripping on to the undertray, so keep an eye on the level and top up as necessary. Don't let it spoil your trip.

No idea which engine but, the usual is a leak from the oil seals on the oil filter cap as they can rarely can be bothered to change them fro the new ones that come with the filter.
Very easy to change out and a filter should be available from pretty much anywhere

Thanks all I managed to get a new filter in Edinburgh seems very large back order on them so assume a problem
It did however cause finding another problem when fitting I also have a leak from sump and the technician says somewhere up middle too. But he says needs to go get checked properly at my dealer and he said it should get us back ok.
Anyway update today contacted Vauxhall dealer told get call back on Friday afternoon no call back called again Saturday morning again no call back so guess now just wait but thanks to all for help and to mark it's good to hear from you it's been a while hope all ok with you

Right...so zafira tourer on mobility. Less than three years old and you had to call the RAC out. After fixing the original problem he found an oil leak. When fixing that oil leak, two more became apparent.
If all of that is correct, it's not a very good advert for the car, is it?

No it is not. Indeed, as it is a Mobility car that is fully covered for all repairs and servicing I would just put it in to the Vx dealer and get them to sort all the problems out. That is the benefit of having a Mobility car ;)
PS Be careful in what you touch on the engine of the car as you cause problems with your Mobility agreement and the warranty that covers the car. It is not your car, so get the dealer to do what they should be doing anyway. :)

A point I made in my first post... Surely no different than a hire or lease car :-\

Motability cars are lease cars. ;)

thanks again for all input, so zafira been in twice since back from trip and on top of leaks have strange grinding noise with ticking as well at irregular times and enough for passers by to notice. so now motability has given me option to change car so hopefully next one better and have went for the sports tourer astra so new astra estate 1.4 .
thanks again as said have a great day!

I have the astra 1.4 sports tourer, Brian. Quite a capable car but delete the 'sports' bit. ;D
