Title: good bye and thank you
Post by: peter the butcher on 26 April 2017, 12:58:42
well its finally time to say goodbye to owning a great car for the last 3 years. Sadly my health is deteriorating now  :( so its time to take her to "the yard", even with 8 months ticket. I cannot really afford to do the necessary jobs on her. And thanks for the useful suggestions, as to getting jobs done over the months too.
so goodbye from him, and goodbye from her  :)
Peter

Sorry to hear about your health and your car. The Omega is a comfy cruiser but they are all getting to that age now. Parts will become harder to find and, like us as we get older, their bodies will start to deteriorate rapidly. I've had mine for fourteen years and she's been a good old girl touchwood.

Stick it on Gumtree. I've just sold my TD estate for the asking price, and had 4 people after it within hours of the ad going live. :y

Rabbit is about as cheap as you can get... Buy a pair from Pets at home, look after them and you'll have all the chicken meat you need ;)

Perhaps an opportunity exists to sell it in 'scouse drinking pits' after the cheerful locals have consumed more than is good for them. ::) ;)
