Title: Are people nuts for LPG cars?
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 03 August 2008, 22:59:25
At 8pm tonight I listed the T reg LPG on ebay

I have 47 viewers, and 10 questions asking to buy it early!

Don't think I will have a problem shifting this, somehow  ::)

ditto

i'd love one but my low mileage prevents me justifying the expense of fitting a kit. methinks it'd be great if the next meega i buy will have one....unless i replace it with an Insignia of course!

Given the current fuel prices, any way of saving a couple of quid and keeping a large car attracts interest..

You should post your questions on your listing, shows other potential bidders that there are lots of people interested and assists in encouraging bidders. in my experience.

When i sold my Elite they were clamoring to come and see it, once they were in front of me they were offering near enough the full asking price

Main reason was the LPG conversion, this is what i have said all along, not only will it save on the day to day running but it will improve saleability

good luck :y

Nicely worded advert James....just one thing, you say you will accept paypal.

You know that they will take a size able chunk of the payment... :o

Maybe best too stick with cash on collection....also saves some numpty buying the car deciding they dont want it and starting a paypal claim (not nice)....despite nothing wrong with car.

Last thing I want to do is take paypal - ebay wouldn't let me list it if I didn't, though ;(

Ebay are going to do themselves no favours if they carry on like this.  >:(

I wouldn't sell a car using a payment method that apparently can be revoked at random weeks after the transaction.

Here people working in car sales always convert normal fuel cars to LPG unless its 0 km...

even I see many new BMW and Mercedes models converted to LPG..

and theres a story about a Turkish Ferrari owner who converted the

car to LPG and loose the car :-[ ;D
