Spoke to the guy about this, says cambelt changed 3 1/2 years ago (new cambelt kit straight away) few bits and peices not working, any ideas what price I should offer.
all help appreciated :question

Not a lot -
To be honest facelift ones are so much cheaper I wouldn't consider a prefacelift now, unless it was for sentimental reasons :D
-
I would go in at 500 as a start. Maybe even 450. :-/
-
Why would you bother.... Yours is in great condition and has nice new wishbones ::) ::) ::) ::)
In reality, an estate would be nice but I'd rather have a less battered saloon and tow a trailer as and when required :y :y :y
-
The air conditioner has never worked since my wife has had the car
talk about pointing the finger of blame! hahaha!
(sorry, not very helpful i know hehehe)
-
If i offered him £450 would that be reasonable especially there are a few bits needing doing.

tried 450, not even close ;D
-
its pre-minifacelift.
no bose, no hids, no sat nav.
worthless really. :'(
-
pre mini facelift, so no side airbags, no steering controls
gearbox not updatable....
due cambelt as you say, plus the aircon etc
so allow
£100 for cambelt
£50 for aircon test / maybe just regas?
sod the heated seats
maybe another 100 on brakes
£50 on servicing / filtes etc
maybe even a new set of boots?
I would start 600ish, but rather find a nicer / newer one

I said £500 max so it's a no goer - i'l stick with what i've got and wait. perhaps your MV6 will come up soon ;)

No more than £600 and thats if you can do the bits that need doing yourself :)

No chance of either of em going for sale, all jobs done on em, going beautifully :D

Expensive washer jets ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
As said above.... Stick to what you've got unless you can grab a bargain facelift!! Your Mig is in great condition and once you sort those last couple of bits (washer jet and Sat Nav Screen) why would you change to an unknown one????
I suppose you could always look for a nice pink 2.5 :D :D :D :D

I give the pink ones a miss :y

A facelift one in mostly full working order will start at around a grand. Minifacelift, probably £500 upwards depending on condition. Preminifacelift would have to be mint to get £500
-
Makes you sad to think how much they were new. Not only that but the toys and comfort are second to none.
Poor old miggys :'(
-
you could still have those pink boots you know. will bring em to newant for you. ;D ;D ;D. no honestly, you know how much i paid for mine & pretty much in the same cond but a 98 also 114thou on it. he`s asking too much :y
-
My 98 only cost me £500 inc a new/sencond hand gearbox and it's on LPG
£900 for a pre facelift is way too much
