The reversing sensors on my elite don't work and I have yet had chance to play and fix them ,but "occasionally" when you switch off car and open door to get out there are 4/5 beeps which sound like the reverse things , but could be an after market alarm or summat.
only does it now and again.
Any ideas anyone?

that could also be the power sounder saying its dying.....remove / and or replace before it self combusts!

Powersounder is drivers side scuttle?

And the PDC sounder is up the back if I remember.

Well I'm not taking any chances, so power sounder is now off, got home whipped out my trusty advanced tool kit and managed to remove it ,even managed to get it off without removing wiper arm!
So we shall see if that cures the beeps!!
Cheers chaps.

It might be the 'lights on / keys in ignition' buzzer. Mine makes some odd noises sometimes :-\
That one lives in the fuse box under the steering wheel. (It looks like a relay but it has slots in the top to let the sound out)

Could be Andy but seems to be 3/4 definite separate beeps I thought from passenger side foot well area ,but I suspect it was actually power sounder.
We shall see.............

I can't argue with removing the power sounder as a preventative measure - but if the noise does continue then that is the only other thing I can think of that should make a noise.
PS - unless someone has fitted a hands-free phone kit with a speaker hidden in the passenger footwell perhaps :-\
